# Loyalty Tiers

Tiers categorize loyalty program members based on their loyalty activities. As members engage more with the program, they’re recognized to higher tiers and get more exclusive benefits.

### Required Editions

You can set up Loyalty Tiers to group members based on their qualifying points. Qualifying points are awarded to members based on their activities in a loyalty program. The qualifying points are used to assess a member’s tier for upgrade or downgrade. Tier hierarchies are created using the sequence number. A tier group can contain one or more tiers.
