# Enable Verification of Member Segments

After you complete the prerequisites to verify members segments, turn on the setting that automatically verifies members' segments for loyalty process rules and the Promotion Eligibility component.

### Required Editions

Depending on how your company wants to verify member segments, complete these prerequisites before you turn on the setting.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Loyalty Management, and then select **Loyalty Management Settings**.
2. Turn on Verify Member Data Cloud Segment for Transactions and Promotions.
3. Select either **Query API**, **Query API for multiple data spaces**, or **Data graph**.
