A program process contains two rules. One rule credits points worth 10% of the members' transaction amount. The other rule is associated with an end of year promotion and issues a voucher to the members if they transact during the promotion period.
Next, define the business scenario for your rule.
- Loyalty Program Process Rule Conditions
A condition determines whether a transaction journal is eligible for an action. You can also create a condition group and define a set of conditions together. A condition can have a child action or a child condition. - Loyalty Program Process Rule Actions
Trigger a range of actions for transaction journals that are processed by a rule. Depending on the business scenario of the rule, you can either trigger actions independent of any conditions or add actions as child steps of conditions. - Add Conditions and Actions to a Rule
Add conditions and actions in a rule to decide how you want a transaction journal to be processed by the rule. Use conditions to decide the transaction journals that you want the rule to process. Use actions to get information about the member, update member records, and run flows and standard type decision tables that are created by admins. - Configure Loyalty Program Process Aliases
Use aliases to quickly and easily specify object fields as resources. You can also use aliases for loyalty objects and fields instead of providing object-field relationships. To make loyalty aliases available as formula resources, define the formula in a rule condition. - Loyalty Program Process Aliases
Field aliases correspond to the object fields that are used as variables in loyalty program process rules.
