# Loyalty Management Permission Sets

Give users in your org the required access to Loyalty Management features. Use the permission sets provided by Salesforce, or clone the default permission sets to create role-based custom permission sets for the users.

## Loyalty Management Permission Set

The Loyalty Management permission set provides users access to the Loyalty Management app. Here's how the app is used by different user groups:

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small ">
        <colgroup>
          <col style="width:50%">
          <col style="width:50%">
        </colgroup>
        <thead class="slds-text-title_caps ">
          <tr class="">
            <th scope="col" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" id="d34280e44">Role</th>
            <th scope="col" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" id="d34280e47">Action</th>
          </tr>
        </thead>
        <tbody>
          <tr class="">
            <td data-label="Role" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d34280e44 ">Loyalty program managers</td>

            <td data-label="Action" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d34280e47 ">
              <ul>
                <li>Create a loyalty program and complete its one-time setup.</li>

                <li>Add partners to the loyalty program.</li>

                <li>Add program rewards and run promotions.</li>

                <li>Track member details and member transactions.</li>

              </ul>
            </td>

          </tr>
          <tr class="">
            <td data-label="Role" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d34280e44 ">Customer service representatives</td>

            <td data-label="Action" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d34280e47 ">
              <ul>
                <li>Track the details of members and their activities.</li>

                <li>Manage service resolution tasks such as adjusting member points, viewing member
                  benefits, and issuing vouchers.</li>

              </ul>
            </td>

          </tr>
        </tbody>
      </table>

## Manage Loyalty Program Permission Set

The Manage Loyalty Program permission set includes Read, Create, Edit, Delete, View All Records, and Modify All Records permissions for all Loyalty Management objects. You can clone the permission set to create role-based custom permission sets.

Example An admin clones the permission set to create two custom permission sets. The first custom permission set enables loyalty program managers to manage their loyalty program but not delete member records such as transaction journals, vouchers, and badges. The second custom permission set enables customer service representatives to view member information such as membership number and to issue vouchers, or adjust points without being able to edit the loyalty program setup.

- **[Permission Set License for Loyalty Management](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.loyalty_permission_set_license.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
    Each type of Loyalty Management license provides a specific number of Loyalty Management permission set licenses. When you assign a Loyalty Management permission set to a user, the number of Loyalty Management permission set licenses that are available in your org reduces by one.
