Use individual segments when you need to target customers based on contact or profile attributes without requiring loyalty program context.

An individual segment represents a single profile or record of a person in your system. For example, a customer might have separate profiles for different brands or channels.

## Advantages

- Works with general customer attributes beyond loyalty data.
- Combines data from multiple non-loyalty sources.
- Suitable for broader marketing campaigns.

## Limitations

- Doesn't automatically remove duplicate records.
- May require rework when migrating to unified individual segments.
