# Digital Pass Template Setup and Dynamic Pass Generation

A loyalty program manager can design loyalty classes on the Google Pay and Wallet Console. When the program manager creates digital pass templates, they can fetch the classes created to generate the digital pass.

### Required Editions

## Configurations in Google Cloud

- Design Classes: Define and design classes on the Google Pay and Wallet Console for loyalty membership cards and gift cards. Set the pass type to Loyalty Card for loyalty member profiles and Gift Card for vouchers. - Customize Pass Visuals: Use Google’s Pass Builder tool to configure loyalty parameters and customize the pass with logos, headers, point displays, QR codes, images, and background colors.

## Configurations in Loyalty Management

- Create Digital Pass Template: In Loyalty Management, create a digital pass template by using the Loyalty template for member profile and the Gift Card template for vouchers. Activate the template to generate the template parameters. You can create additional parameters based on your business needs. ## Runtime Execution

- Trigger Invocable Action: Activation of digital pass template, triggers the Issue Digital Pass or the Refresh Digital Pass invocable actions. When a member enrolls or the program issues a voucher, the system executes a flow that uses the template parameters and generates a URL to create a new digital pass. - Add Digital Pass to Wallet: When a customer executes the URL from a mobile app or an Experience Cloud site, the system dynamically generates the digital pass and adds to the Google Wallet app. When a loyalty program issues a voucher, the customer receives the voucher URL via email or other communication channels. Clicking the URL triggers the Issue Digital Pass invocable action, which generates a digital pass for the voucher and adds to the Google Wallet app.

If a member already holds a loyalty membership card in their Google Wallet, the system uses the source record reference IDs to automatically link any new vouchers to that card. The system supports linking up to 50 passes to a single loyalty membership card.
