View Source Credit and Target Debit Loyalty Ledgers

When a loyalty process processes a redemption transaction journal, the process creates a debit loyalty ledger and traceability loyalty ledgers. Use the traceability ledgers to view details of the associated credit ledgers and the points consumed from each credit ledger. If a debit transaction consumes points from multiple credit transactions, a separate traceability record is created for each association.

Every loyalty ledger record includes two related lists.

  • Source Credit Loyalty Ledgers: On a debit, expiry, or transfer ledger record, use this list to see the original credit transactions are the source for the redemption.
  • Target Debit Loyalty Ledgers: On a credit ledger record, use this list to see the transactions that consumed the points from the points.

View Subtypes

Use the Loyalty Program Currency Subtype field on loyalty ledgers to track the currency subtype associated with each accrual transaction.

If a traceable non-qualifying currency doesn’t have a currency subtype defined, the related credit loyalty ledgers don't contain a value for the currency subtype. In such cases, the currency subtype of the credit ledger is referred to as Base.
