# Club Setup

Learn about the necessary prerequisites for clubs and the audience of clubs.

### Required Editions

## Prerequisites for Creating Clubs

Before you set up a club, work with your admin to complete the prerequisites.

- Permissions: Assign users the Loyalty Management and the Manage Loyalty Programs permission sets to give them access to the Clubs Management app and permissions to create clubs.
- Clubs related list: Turn on the Interest-Based Clubs setting to view the Clubs related list under a loyalty program. You can update the related list on the page layout from the Lightning App Builder.

    You can add flexibility and control by using a dynamic related list. When you configure a dynamic related list, configure these options.
    
    - Parent Record: Loyalty Program
    - Related List: Loyalty Tier Groups
    - Related List Label: Clubs
    - Related List Fields: Add fields such as Name, Description, Start Date, End Date, and Active.

- Duration: Set up the values for the timeframe within which a customer must pay the club membership fees. Duration is a dynamic enum field and you can configure the picklist values such as monthly, quarterly, and yearly. For more details about adding picklist values using Object Manager, see [Add or Edit Picklist Values](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.updating_picklists.htm&language=en_US). Use the Membership Duration Type picklist field under the Loyalty Tier Membership Fee Option Object.
- Payment model: Set up the values for the type of payment that a customer can use for club membership. Payment Model is a dynamic enum field and you can configure the picklist values such as cash, loyalty currency, or cash and loyalty currency. Use the Fee Type picklist field under the Loyalty Tier Membership Fee Option Object.

- Customers who are a part of specific Data Cloud segments, campaigns, and actionable lists
- Members of specific tiers within a loyalty program
