# Publish the Global Consent Definition

Publish a Global Consent Definition to activate it for use.

### Required Editions

Add the definition's key attributes before you publish.

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Privacy Center**, and then select the **Global Consent** tab.
2. Under **Configuration**, select **Global Consent Definitions**.
3. Open the Global Consent Definition that you want to publish.
4. Confirm that you added all key attributes.
5. Click **Publish**.
    
    From the confirmation window, review the details, and then publish the definition.

    Note After you use a definition to create a consent record, you can unpublish it, but you can't delete it.
