# Review the Consent Audit Log

Look up a consent record and review the full history of how its consent status has changed.

Use the Consent Audit Log to confirm a data subject's current consent or to trace when and how it changed.

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Privacy Center**, and then select the **Global Consent** tab.
2. Under **Configuration**, select **Consent Audit Log**.
3. From the **Global Consent Definition** list, select the definition for the records you want to find.
4. Enter a **Data Subject ID**, a **Contact Point**, or both, and then click **Search**.
5. In the **Results** list, find the consent record you want to view, and then click **View History**.
6. In the **History** section, review each consent status change, along with its source and date.
7. To download the record's history, click **Export Audit Log**.
