# Add the Field History Explorer Lightning Component

Add the Lightning component to a record page to view the audit trail of tracked field changes, who changed what and when, without leaving the record.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col style="width:100%"></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.</td></tr></tbody></table>

To add the Lightning component to a record:

1. On the record page, click the Setup Menu icon.
2. Select Edit Page.
3. In the Standard section, on the bottom of the left column, drag "FieldHistoryExplorer" to the desired location.
4. Click "Save" and "Activate" for all users before exiting the Lightning App Builder.
