# Print Records

You can print Salesforce records from most detail pages.

The Printable View action is supported on Lightning Experience for desktop only. It isn’t supported on mobile devices.

- In Salesforce Classic, click **Printable View** in the upper right corner of most detail pages.
- In console apps for Salesforce Classic, click the print icon ![Print icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-xcloud-basics-264-0-0-production-enus/d8bf6981-f8ef-4f16-bfbd-c42ed32044eb/basics/images/printview_elv.png) to open a record's printable view.
- In Lightning Experience, click **Printable View** in the action menu ![Dropdown menu icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-xcloud-basics-264-0-0-production-enus/d8bf6981-f8ef-4f16-bfbd-c42ed32044eb/basics/images/down_120.png).
    
    Printable View is available for a select set of objects. For more information, see [Print List Views](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.basics_faq_which_records_print_listviews.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Print standard and custom list views."). If you previously customized the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section of a page layout, you have to add Printable View to that section manually for it to appear.
