# Expire Fixed Non-Qualifying Points

The Expire Fixed Non-Qualifying Points job calculates and expires non-qualifying points for members based on the expiration date on the ledger.

The Process Run Date is used to update the Last Expiration Process Run Date and to determine the unused points that are to be expired.

**Running the Job**

After the job runs, the accrued points that are eligible for expiration are expired. The Loyalty Member Currency records are updated with the latest non-qualifying points balance, which is the sum of accrued points minus redeemed and expired points.
