To associate an engagement attribute with a promotion: Loyalty Management

If you create engagement attributes for promotions, you can design loyalty program process rules that only update the members' progress during the promotion period. An engagement attribute can be associated with only one promotion and can't be used to track member engagement for two or more promotions.

Important
Important An engagement attribute can only be associated with one promotion.
  1. On the Loyalty Program tab of the Loyalty Management app, select the program that contains your engagement attribute and promotion.
  2. Click Loyalty Experiences.
  3. From the Promotions related list, open the promotion to which you want to associate an engagement attribute.
  4. Click Related.
  5. On the Loyalty Program Engagement Attribute Promotions related list, click New.
  6. Select the engagement attribute that you want to associate with the promotion.
  7. Save your changes.
Example
Example An engagement attribute named Items Purchased during Cyber Monday is associated with a promotion that runs on Cyber Monday every year. The engagement attribute doesn't have an end date. The members' progress for the engagement attribute is updated by using a rule that's associated with the Cyber Monday promotion. The members' progress is only updated during Cyber Monday and are rewarded when they achieve the engagement attribute's target.

When using rules to update the members' progress for an engagement attribute, ensure that the promotion associated with the rule and the engagement attribute match. If the promotion associated with the rule and the engagement attribute don't match, the rule doesn't process the input data.
