# Disable an External Client App Plugin

To disable a plugin in an external client app, remove the policies for that plugin.

1. Delete the policies file from org 3.
    
    ```
    sf project delete source --source-dir force-app/main/default/extlClntAppOauthPolicies --target-org johndoe@example3.com
    ```
2. Retrieve the external client app for org 3.
    
    ```
    sf project retrieve start --source-dir force-app/main/default/extlClntAppOauthPolicies --target-org johndoe@example3.com
    ```
