# Grant User Access to Data Detect

Give users access to all policy actions, such as editing policies or viewing all records related to a Data Detect job session.

### Required Editions

Grant access to Data Detect by configuring a permission set and assigning it to your users.

1. Create a new permission set, or edit an existing permission set.
2. In System Permission, enable **Manage user access to Data detect feature**. Remember to save your changes.
3. Assign the permission set to your users as needed.
