Let’s say a loyalty member of New Airlines has Tier Points totaling about 5000 points from the previous transactions. The member decides to redeem some points to purchase a business class ticket.

As an admin, you can automate the point redemption process. In this example, we create a flow that redeems non-qualifying points for members based on the class of ticket that they purchase.

1. Create a custom object **Redemption Chart** with Product and Price as the input and output fields for your decision table.
2. Create records for the Redemption Chart as defined in the following Redemption Catalog.

    | Product | Points |
    | --- | --- |
    | Business Class Seat | 3000 |
    | Economy Class Seat | 2000 |
3. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter **Decision Tables**, and then select **Decision Tables**.
4. Click **New**.
5. Enter a name and description for the decision table.
6. From Decision Table Type, select **Standard**.
7. Click **Next**.
8. In the source object, select Redemption Chart object.
9. Click **Next**.
10. From the **Use As** list, select **Input** field for **Product**.
11. From the **Use As** list, select **Output** field for **Points**.
12. Save your changes.
