# Change Your Profile or Group Photo

Upload a photo to your profile so people can see who you are. Upload a photo for groups that you own or manage.

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small "><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Essentials</strong>, <strong>Group</strong>, <strong>Professional</strong>, <strong>Enterprise</strong>, <strong>Performance</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, <strong>Contact Manager</strong>, and <strong>Developer</strong> Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

1. Go to your profile or the group’s page.
2. Mouse over the photo and click **Add Photo** or **Update**.
3. Browse for the photo you want to upload and open the file.

You can upload photos in .jpg, .gif, or .png format, up to 10 MB in Classic and 16 MB in Lightning Experience. Photos also have a 36 MP dimension limit.
4. Create a thumbnail image by dragging the dotted lines across the photo.

If the photo is for your profile and you’re a member of any Experience Cloud sites, you can select Show my photo on publicly accessible pages. This option makes the photo visible to guest users viewing publicly accessible sites or pages that don’t require login.
5. Save your changes.
