Stock Rotation warnings are automated flags that identify discrepancies in inventory data or ongoing processes that could impact the accuracy of a claim. These warnings must be reviewed and, in some cases, resolved before a final rebate claim can be generated.
Required Editions
| Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Stock Rotation enabled. |
Types of Stock Rotation Warnings
The system monitors two primary issues that affect execution line items:
| Warning Type | Trigger | Business Impact |
|---|---|---|
| Price Change | A child bucket or transaction price for the inventory record differs from the original PUI record. | Prevents overpayment or underpayment due to market price shifts. |
| Reconciliation Warning | An active Partner Inventory Information Reconciliation (PIIR) record exists for the specific inventory item. | Ensures quantities are not rotated while undergoing a physical audit. |

Resolve Reconciliation Warnings
These warnings are system-driven and clear automatically once the underlying process is finalized.

- Complete the open PIIR (Partner Inventory Information Reconciliation) record for that product.
- Set the PIIR status to Completed.
Resolve Price Change Warnings
Price change warnings require manual review by an OEM user or Claim Analyst.
- From the Stock Rotation Execution record, navigate to the Related tab.
- Select the Stock Rotation Execution Line Item you want to inspect.
- Verify if the price change is valid (for example, a scheduled price drop or manual adjustment).
- If the discrepancy is acceptable, resolve the warning by manually deselecting the Has Warnings checkbox.
