Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Stock Rotation enabled.
User Permissions Needed
To manage budgets and allocations: Stock Rotation Admin permission set

The budgeting system follows a hierarchical structure to track funds from a global level down to individual partner executions:

  • Budget: Represents the total fund pool (e.g., "$1M for Q4 Returns").
  • Budget Allocation: Links a portion of the main budget to a specific Rebate Program Member (Partner). This defines the "Eligible Amount" seen on the Execution record.

To define and allocate Budgets:

  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Budgets.
  2. Click New and define the total fund amount and period. Ensure the status is set to Active.
  3. Navigate to the Budget Allocations related list and click New.
  4. Configure the allocation for a partner:
    1. Budget: Select the parent budget record.
    2. Rebate Program Member: Select the partner account enrolled in the Stock Rotation program.
    3. Amount: Enter the maximum credit value allowed for this partner's rotation.
  5. Save the allocation.
Note
Note

When a Stock Rotation Execution is created for a partner, the system automatically pulls the value from all the Budget Allocations defined for the member and displays it as the Eligible Amount.

Before Claim Generation, use the Simulate Amount action to see the "Calculated Amount." Compare this against the "Eligible Amount" to ensure you are within budget. See Simulate and Generate Stock Rotation Incentive Claims.
