The Stock Rotation Eligibility Calculation for Partner Unsold Inventory template stamps eligibility onto eligible Partner Unsold Inventory (PUI) records. This DPE is responsible for calculating the eligibility of any invoice for stock rotation.
Required Editions
| Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Stock Rotation enabled |
This template stamps eligibility onto PUI records based on the these criterias:
-
- Account Match: The account on the inventory record must match the Rebate Program Member.
- Product Mapping: The product must be included in the Program Rebate Type (supports both Include and Exclude logic).
- Price Type: The price type (e.g., List Price) on the inventory record must match the eligibility record.
- Calculation of Stock Rotation Dates : Stock Rotation Start Date for an inventory item is calculated by subtracting the validity duration from the Rebate Program Start Date. Stock Rotation End Date will be the same as the Rebate Program End Date.
- Partner Unsold Inventory Transaction Date falls within the range of Stock Rotation Start Date and Stock Rotation End Date.
- This DPE will also check for overlapping Rebate Programs and overlapping Program Rebate Types scenarios.
- During recalculation of eligibility we are assuming that there will be only a single SREI for a given PUI and Rebate Type since “Stock Rotation and Execution Processing” DPE follows the same convention.
- It is going to consider only ongoing and future Rebate Programs while calculating the eligibility.
- Recalculation of Eligibility will also depend on the Stock Rotation Execution Item Status.
- Eligibility is recalculated only if there is no SREI corresponding to PUI and Stock Rotation Rebate Type (stamped on PUI) OR SREI corresponding to PUI and Stock Rotation Rebate Type is in “Complete”, “Rejected” or “New” status. For “Complete” and “Rejected” status PUI will be updated only if the recalculation of eligibility results in PUI becoming eligible for a new Program Rebate Type. However if recalculation of eligibility results in PUI becoming ineligible for any Rebate Type or an error, then we will not update the eligibility on that PUI.
