# Define Stock Rotation Incentive Eligibility Using Rebate Type

To define when a rebate applies to a product or a list of products, create a rebate type and define a filter on the program rebate type.

### Required Editions

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Program Rebate Types**.
2. Click **New**.
3. Enter the details such as name, status, and rebate program.
4. On the Product Filter Type field, select an option.
    1. Include Products: Includes only the products listed in the related list.
    2. Exclude Products: Includes all products except those in the related list.
5. Click **Save**.
    
    A Program Rebate Type record is created.
6. Click the **Related** tab on the Program Rebate Type record.
7. In the Included or Excluded Products related list, add your items using **Add Product** or **Add Product List**.

Note If no products are selected, all products are eligible by default.
