# Bypass All Triggers and Validations at the Object or Policy Level

Apply an automation bypass setting to an entire policy or to selected objects on a policy.

Before you begin: In Setup, on the Privacy Policy Settings page, enable **Allow policy configurations that ignore job errors and bypass automations**.

To bypass all automations with a particular policy, click **Edit** on the policy details page, and then select **Bypass triggers and validation rules during policy execution**.

To bypass automations for selected policy objects:

1. Add or edit an object.
2. On the Add an Object page, select **Bypass triggers and validation rules for this object**.
3. Complete the remaining object configuration steps and save your changes.
