A permission set lets you grant API Enabled access to user profiles so they can receive push notifications when using your branded app.

If you’ve already created a permission set, you can skip to step 3.

1. From Setup, enter Permission Sets in the Quick Find box, then select **Permission Sets** and click **New**.
2. Create a name for the permission set, and select your org’s user license then click **Save**.
3. Go to the System section and select **System Permissions**, then click **Edit**.
4. Select **API Enabled** and click **Save**.
5. Select the permission set and click **Manage Assignments** and then **Add Assignments**.
6. Select the check boxes next the names of the users you want assigned to the permission set, and click **Assign**.

If users are already logged into the app, they must relogin to receive push notifications. You can force your users to relogin by revoking their tokens to the app.
