# Test the Beta Version of Your App

Install the beta version of your app and see how your company’s branded assets look on a mobile device.

Here are a couple things to keep in mind when testing the beta version of your app:

- Review the visual appearance including the app functionality for the Experience Cloud app. However, reviewing the app functionality of the branded Salesforce mobile app isn’t required as it works the same way as the non-branded version.
- Test the app on different screen sizes. For example, your tester might want to install the app on an iPhone and an iPad to verify that the branded assets work well across different screen sizes.
- After enabling push notifications in the ECA setup, verify that they work in your sandbox and production environments.

    Warning Before testing in sandbox, deploy your ECA to that environment.
- Locate the version number of your app for reference when testing.
    
    - Android
        - Long press (tap and hold your finger down) on the app icon.
        - Tap on “i”.
        - Tap **View the app version**.
    
    - iOS
        - Go to the iOS Settings app.
        - Search for your app by name.
        - Tap on your app to show the version number.
