For some kinds of objects, deleting one record affects other, related records.

| To delete records: | Delete on the object for the kind of record you’re deleting |
Before you delete a record, check whether there are related records. For example, if you delete an account or contact, all associated assets are also deleted.
- Find and open the record you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
