Note To turn on marketing settings on the Salesforce Foundations setup page, first make sure your email is verified. Typically, you verify your email address in the Salesforce sign-up process. To check your email verification status, go to the Advanced User Details page and find the Email field.

1. Verify Data Cloud setup.

Data Cloud powers tools for managing consent data and creating targeted audiences for campaigns. See [Set Up Data Cloud](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.base_setup_data_cloud.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "After the required products for Salesforce Foundations are added, you’re ready to set up Data Cloud for Salesforce Foundations.").
2. Configure required email settings and grant users access to the Marketing app.

    See [Set Up Marketing](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.starter_prosuite_set_up_marketing.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
3. To visualize data through Tableau in the Marketing app, install and configure the Marketing Performance app after provisioning is complete for Marketing Settings.
    1. From Advanced Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter and select **Marketing Performance**.
    2. To install Marketing Performance, click **Install**.
    3. Assign the Tableau Next Limited Consumer permission set to give users access to the Marketing Performance app. See [User Permissions](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.admin_userperms.htm&type=5&language=en_US) for more detailed instructions.
4. To evaluate and score contacts and leads based on how likely they are to respond to your marketing, configure People Scoring.
    1. From Advanced Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter and select **Scoring Models**.
    2. Configure and publish your rules. See [People Scoring](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mktg_data_scoring_parent.htm&type=5&language=en_US) for a deeper dive into scoring rules.
5. Assign users a workspace contributor role so they can create content.

    See [Add Workspace Contributors](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mktg_admin_setup_contributors_workspace.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
6. Set up integrations and give users access to manage landing pages and forms.

See [Set Up Landing Pages and Forms](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.starter_prosuite_set_up_landing_pages_forms.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

After you set up Marketing for Salesforce Foundations, review [Included Features in Salesforce Foundations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.base_features.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Explore the features that come with Salesforce Foundations.") and corresponding Salesforce documentation.
