# Create a Process Using Credit Points to Member Process Template

The Credit Points to Members process template contains a rule and a set of parameters that allow you to credit the accrued points of the Loyalty Program Member. You can create a process using the template and extend it based on your requirements.

### Required Editions

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Loyalty Management**.
2. On the Loyalty Program list view, open the loyalty program for which you want to create the process.
3. Click **Loyalty Processes**.
4. On the Loyalty Program Processes related list, click **New**.
5. Select **Create from Template** and click **Next**.
6. From Transactional category, select **Credit Points to Member** and click **Next**.
7. Enter a name for the loyalty program process.
8. Select **Loyalty Program Currency** in which you want to credit points to the member’s points balance. For example, Reward Points, Tier Points.
9. Select the date from which the rule must start processing transaction journals and credit points to the member.
10. Save your changes.

A loyalty program process is created and it contains rule named Credit Points. The process also contains parameters that are used in the rule.

You can update the Credit Points rule step based on your requirements or create additional rules for the process.
