# Compare Your Backups

Identify record changes between two Salesforce backups by comparing them. Quickly spot additions, modifications, and deletions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

### Required Editions

1. Click the **Activities** tab.
2. Click **Compare**.
3. Select the two backups to compare. By default, the last two backups are selected.
4. Select whether to compare **All Objects** in the backups or **Specific Objects**. If you select Specific Objects, enter the objects to compare.
5. Click **Compare**.

The compare begins and is added to the Activities list. When complete, view the final compare report from the Activities list.

    The compare report shows the record changes, including additions, modifications, and deletions, between objects in two different backups.
