# Enable Backups in Salesforce

After configuring your backup settings, enable backups for your org and run your first backup.

### Required Editions

1. In Salesforce Backup & Recover Next, click the **Backups** tab.
2. Click **Start Backing Up Now**.

Your initial backup starts immediately and, when complete, backups continue to run daily.
