Before using Salesforce Backup & Recover Next, review these considerations.

### Required Editions

Salesforce Backup & Recover Next supports the backup of standard and custom Salesforce objects, including all available fields, and files, such as attachments and content documents.

Currently, Salesforce Backup & Recover Next doesn't support custom big objects, Event Log Objects, KAV (Knowledge Base Articles) objects, and the listed data objects.

Salesforce Backup & Recover Next doesn’t support objects missing any of the following fields

- SystemModstamp
- LastModifiedDate
- CreatedDate
- LoginDate

Despite this, some of these objects are supported in the first backup of the day only.

Salesforce Backup & Recover Next can back up certain objects but not restore them.

- Objects that require a higher permission level than `Modify All Data`
- Read-only objects

Salesforce Backup & Recover Next doesn't support certain file objects.

Embedded images are references to an image source in a Rich Text Area. When restoring an object with embedded images, the embedded image reference can break and not restore properly.
