# Validate the Timesheets and Labor Cost Optimization Setup in Salesforce UI

Log in as a Salesforce admin and confirm the permission assignments, Labor Cost Optimization settings, and Field Service mobile app configuration in Setup.

Validate permission assignments

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select **Users**.
2. Locate and select the user designated as the technician.
3. In the Permission Set Assignments related list, confirm that both **Labor Cost Optimization Resource** and **FieldServiceMobileStandardPermSet** are assigned.

Validate Labor Cost Optimization settings

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Advanced Timesheets, and then select **Advanced Timesheets and Labor Cost Optimization settings** .
2. Confirm that the **Timesheets and Labor Cost Optimization** and **Enable AI and Agentforce for Timesheets** are turned off.
3. Confirm that optional toggles, such as **Mobile Crew Lead Time Management**, are turned off.
4. Under Set Up Automatic Time Rounding, verify that the **End Time Rounding Threshold (Minutes)** reflects the value you provided to the agent.

Validate Field Service mobile app configuration

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Field Service Mobile, and then select **Field Service Mobile App Builder**.
2. Confirm that a configuration exists and its status is **Published**.
3. Confirm that the configuration is assigned to the **Standard User** profile.
4. Open the configuration to view the layout. Confirm that a tab-labeled **Timesheet** appears in the mobile navigation and contains the `timesheetLandingPage` Lightning web component.
