# Configure Vehicle Selection

Supervisors can configure the options for the technicians to select the vehicle.

### Required Editions

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Timesheets, and then select **Advanced Timesheets Labor Cost Optimization Settings**.
2. Select a vehicle selection option.
    
    - **Vehicle**: In the Field Service mobile app, Technicians can select a specific daily vehicle for their day and individual hourly breakdown. For example, Truck A - Ford F150.
    - **Vehicle model from Vehicle Definition**: In the Field Service mobile app, Technicians can select a vehicle model for their day and individual hourly breakdown. For example, Ford F150.
    - **Assets**: In the Field Service mobile app, Technicians can select multiple vehicles or mobile assets for a single timesheet. For example, Vehicle 99333E2 and Trailer 223452.
    - **Page Layout Control**: In the Field Service mobile app, Technicians can select a vehicle, vehicle definition, or assets based on the page layout.

    Note You can assign the different vehicle selection to different technicians from the Time Sheet Entry page layout assignment.
