# Create a Product Service Campaign Work Type
Specify information about the eligible work types that can be associated with a product service campaign.
### Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.
User Permissions Needed
To create and update Product Service Campaign Work Types
Product Service Campaign permission set
1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Product Service Campaign Work Types**.
2. Click **New**.
The name of the record is automatically populated.
3. Provide values for these fields.

4. Save your work.
Example
Neo Motors, an automotive OEM, has received multiple customer and dealer complaints about the Neo Sedan NXi vehicle. Upon investigation, they find out that they need to repair the Seat Adjuster bolt for all the 2023-2024 models. The compliance officer at Neo Motors files a product service campaign group definition record for a quality recall with a high severity.
He creates product service campaign definition records for the Neo Sedan NXi vehicles based on the data received.
He creates a product service campaign group definition causal item record for the 2023-2024 Seat Adjuster bolt and captures the remediation type as Replace. He selects a replacement type of Product Return with Credit for the impacted vehicles in the inventory of the dealers associated with Neo Motors, such as Jiyoo Limited and Lizen Partners. He requests these dealerships to provide support to the customers who have purchased a Neo Sedan NXi vehicle.
In the Bangalore region, he selects Lara Limited, the supplier with the maximum number of unsold and impacted inventory items as the preferred partner. He communicates to them to stop sales for the seat adjuster bolt and requests to retrieve the unsold inventory.
He creates Product Service Work Type records for Vehicle Service and Vehicle Repair so that these can be associated to the product service campaign records for the recall.
After defining all the required information for the recall in the respective records, he hands it over to the service managers who create the product service campaign records for executing this recall.
