Salesforce admins set up Inventory Replenishment and build an automated inventory replenishment process.
Inventory Manager
Inventory managers create inventory replenishment policies, track inventory levels, and manage product requests.
- Create inventory replenishment policy records. You can also create policy records by importing CSV files with inventory replenishment policy details.
- If product fulfillment locations determine the source location for replenishment, create product fulfillment location records.
- Track applicable replenishment policies for product items in the Applicable Inventory Replenishment Policy related list on a product item record page. See How Applicable Inventory Replenishment Policies Are Applied to Product Items.
- After the automated process creates product requests, manage product requests and product request line item records. Identify the product requests created from replenishment policies by using the Inventory Replenishment Policy field on product request records.
