Prevent stockouts, ensure consistent product availability, and cultivate customer trust
with a reliable, streamlined inventory replenishment process. Manage inventory replenishment
policies to define how product items are restocked, where they're restocked from, and by how
much they're restocked. Periodically run an automated inventory replenishment to trigger
replenishment when stock levels drop below predefined thresholds—all without manual inventory
checks.
Required Editions
Inventory replenishment policies can trigger based on Quantity On Hand, Quantity Available,
or any custom numeric field on the Product Item entity. Quantity Available accounts for
unusable stock, such as damaged, expired, lost, or other configured types. When you use
Quantity Available as the replenishment basis, unusable stock is automatically excluded when
determining how much to reorder, helping you maintain accurate inventory levels.

- Managing Inventory Replenishment
Inventory managers track inventory levels, establish inventory replenishment policies, and manage the requests for products across inventory locations. Inventory replenishment policies define how product items are restocked when they reach a minimum stock level. Automated replenishment processes determine the product items to be restocked based on the replenishment policies. The policy with the most closely matching combination of product and location applies to a product item.
