# Search Products Across Inventory Locations

Use batch details to search for products and parts stored across multiple inventory locations. Quickly find the inventory you need using configurable search criteria set up by your admin.

Note The searchable object, Product Inventory Batch Searchable Field, supports only inventory search and does not support transfer actions through the UI or API.

Search for products and parts across inventory locations based on batch details.

1. Open the page where the admin has added the Criteria-Based Search and Filter component.
2. In the Search Criteria section, specify the batch related criteria that you want to apply for searching products.
    
    The criteria you can use to search for inventory is based on how your Salesforce admin sets up the search criteria configuration in the Criteria-Based Search and Filter settings.
3. Click **Search**.
4. Review the search results.
    
    The display format of the search results and the type of information shown is based on how your Salesforce admin sets up the search criteria configuration in the Criteria-Based Search and Filter settings.
5. To filter the results, select a grouping and aggregation criteria.
