# Enable Inventory Allocation

To set up and use Inventory Allocation, turn on Inventory Allocation in Setup.

### Required Editions

Before you enable Inventory Allocation, turn on Inventory Search and Transfer and Criteria-Based Search and Filter in the Setup.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Inventory Allocation Settings, and then select **Inventory Allocation Settings**.
2. Turn on Inventory Allocation.
