# Prerequisites for Advanced Exchange

Complete these prerequisites before you set up and use Advanced Exchange in Asset Lifecycle Management.

### Required Editions

- Associate a Price Book and Products: Link a price book to the work order. Add the relevant product to the standard price book first, and then to the custom or new price book as needed.
- Work Order Details: Ensure the work order includes key information such as contact details and location.
- Work Order Line Items: Associate all related work order line items with the work order to accurately track the products or parts involved.
- Enable Asset Service Lifecycle Management: From Setup, select Asset Service Lifecycle Management Settings, and turn on Asset Service Lifecycle Management.
