Note The file storage pricing for Salesforce Archive is calculated at 10% of the actual GB used. For example, if an org is storing 100 GB of files in Salesforce Archive, the "effective storage" GB that will be charged to the customer is 10 GB.

- **[Create a Legacy Salesforce Archive Policy](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.archive_create_policy.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Create and save a new Legacy Salesforce Archive policy. After your policy is created, you can target the records that you want to archive by adding objects.
- **[Add Objects to a Legacy Salesforce Archive Policy](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.archive_add_objects.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
To specify the records and files that you want to archive, add an object to your Legacy Salesforce Archive policy. While configuring the object, you determine which records to process, how to handle related files and attachments, and which related objects to archive in addition to the primary object.
- **[Set the Run Schedule for a Legacy Salesforce Archive Policy](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.archive_run_schedule.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Define when and how often your Legacy Salesforce Archive policy executes. For example, you can choose to manually start your policy, or you can schedule it to run at regular intervals.
- **[Preview a Legacy Salesforce Archive Policy](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.archive_preview_policy.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Generate and acknowledge a preview of your Legacy Salesforce Archive policy. Previews estimate the number of records and files that your policy affects, helping you evaluate its impact on the data in your org.
- **[Publish and Manage a Legacy Salesforce Archive Policy](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.archive_manage_policy.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
To add your Legacy Salesforce Archive policy to the job queue, publish it. You can also edit, delete, or immediately run a policy.
