To connect your Quip site to Salesforce, you need an API key.

Only a Quip admin can create an API key.
- Log in to the Quip Admin Console.
- Click Settings, then Integrations.
- Click New API Key.
- Name your API key and enable the User Read, User Manage, User Write, Admin Read, Admin Write, and Admin Manage scopes.
When you get started with Quip in Salesforce Setup, use your new API key’s Client ID and Client Secret. To find the Client ID and Client Secret, go to the Quip Admin Console’s Integrations page, view your API key, and click Copy.
