# Public External Search

AI Relationship Research searches the public web to discover relationships not yet captured in your CRM.

Web search is powered by the Agentforce web search capability. For more information, see [Add a Web Retriever to a Prompt Template](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.prompt_builder_retriever_web.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

Web search can provide information about several of the highest value relationship types, including:

- Key executives, board members, and prominent figures at a target organization.
- Partner organizations, investors, customers, and suppliers.
- Industry association memberships, non-profit affiliations, and public-facing roles.
- A person's past employers and professional associations.
- Recent news such as mergers, leadership changes, and product announcements.

Requires: If you’ve enabled Data 360, the Web search retrievers are available by default.
