Configure and Activate the Procedure Plan for Qualification

Associate the qualification procedure with its procedure plan and activate the plan so that it runs at order capture.

Required Editions

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Procedure Plan, and then select Procedure Plan Definition Template.
  2. Select Default_CG_Qualification_Procedure_Plan_Definition_Template.
  3. Verify the context mapping.
    • ContextDefinition: MACZProductDiscoveryContext__stdctx
    • DefaultReadContextMapping: ProductDiscoveryMapping
    • DefaultSaveContextMapping: ProductDiscoveryMapping
  4. In the procedure plan sections, set these values.
    • Phase: Qualification
    • Resolution Type: Default
    • ReadContextMapping and SaveContextMapping: ProductDiscoveryMapping
    • Procedure: Select the procedure you created.
  5. Click Save As, and then activate the Procedure Plan Definition version.

When a telesales rep launches the order entry interface, order capture populates the specific context to run runtime product qualification and search indexing. When the rep selects Calculate or enables Instant Pricing, the system passes the transaction payload through the AdvSalesTxn context definition directly into the Penny Perfect Pricing procedure to calculate net unit prices, volume tiers, and taxes in real time.
