# Compare Classic Rebate Management and Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced

Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced builds on Classic Rebate Management. It adds accrual-based liability tracking and runs calculations on Data 360 with the Accrual and Payout Engine, so you can process high transaction volumes and recognize financial liabilities independently of payouts.
