Adjust Points for a Transaction Journal

Use Adjust Points to manually adjust a member's credited or debited points. The system makes these adjustments in real time.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Loyalty Management enabled.

When you adjust points for multiple transaction journals to debit points from associated members, the system updates the members' points balance in real time. When you adjust to credit points, points are credited in real time but the points balance can be updated in these ways.

Scenario Action
Qualifying points are credited. Run the Credit Qualifying Points to Members Data Processing Engine definition.
The org has real-time non-qualifying points balance update enable, and non-qualifying points are credited. The points automatically credit to the associated members' points balance as soon as you make the adjustment.
