# Slackbot in Salesforce

Slackbot is a personal agent for work that's built into both Slack and Salesforce. Set up Slackbot for your org, and then work with it wherever you are in Salesforce to search, summarize, and take action across Slack and Salesforce. Slackbot is built right into Slack – no Marketplace app to install.

### Required Editions

Because Slackbot has the same context and access to information that you do, it can search, summarize, and take action across both systems from wherever you work.
