Note If you're a Salesforce admin but not a Slack admin, turning on Agentforce Sales in Slack sends an approval request to your Slack admin. After they approve it, Salesforce automatically installs the Model Context Protocol server.

1. From the home page, select **Settings** (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
2. Select **Salesforce Go**.
3. Search for and select **Agentforce Sales in Slack**.
4. From the Agentforce Sales in Slack Go page, select **Get Started**.
5. Turn on the **Turn on Agentforce Sales in Slack** setting.
6. To connect your Slack CRM workspace, select **Go to Guided Slack Setup**.
7. Turn on Agentforce for Sales.

To turn on Agentforce for Sales and Pipeline Management, select **Go to Agentforce for Sales**. Complete the Manage Your Agent configuration, which enables the sales agent to recommend updates to opportunity fields.
8. Turn on the Enable Agentforce Sales Connector setting to install the Agentforce Sales MCP server directly into Slack's MCP client.

Slack users now have access to Agentforce Sales in Slack. After you turn on the Agentforce Sales MCP server, it exposes its tools, such as Pipeline Management, to every connected Slack workspace user. Any of those Slack users can call the server and its tools, but each user sees only the data that their existing Salesforce permissions allow.

To turn on Agentforce Sales in Slack within Slackbot, open a chat with Slackbot, select the **Apps** icon (plug), and then select the **platform.agentforce-sales-slackbot** MCP server.
