# Reopen a Swarm in Slack

Easily reopen a closed swarm if the issue wasn’t resolved or further collaboration is needed in Slack. Reopening a swarm changes the swarm record’s status from a Closed status to an Open one. And, based on how you decide to reopen the swarm, you can open the swarm with the same swarm members or add new ones.

1. In Slack, from the swarm thread posted by the Service Cloud for Slack app, select **Reopen swarm**.
2. Select either **Basic Reopen** or **Reopen with Swarm Members**. To reopen the swarm and send new swarm requests via Omni-Channel skills-based routing, reopen the swarm from the record in Salesforce. See [Reopen a Swarm in Lightning Experience](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.reopen_a_swarm.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
3. Select **Finish**.
