# Enable PRM for Slack in Slack

Enable the PRM for Slack app in Enterprise Grid settings. Ensure that partner workspaces are enabled to accept Slack Connect invitations.

Important Only the Salesforce orgs that you completed the Slack app setup for can connect to the PRM for Slack app. You must approve PRM for Slack before it can be installed. Adjust the workspace settings to approve the installation of PRM for Slack.

1. In Slack Enterprise Grid, go to **Slack Connect** | **Settings** | **Enable for channels in which workspaces** for Slack Connect and select **Edit**.
2. Select the workspace where you want to enable Slack Connect.
3. Save your changes.

    Tip If the partner you’re collaborating with plans to use a free workspace, ensure that you’ve enabled the PRM for Slack app to connect with free workspaces.
4. Go to **Slack Connect** | **Settings** | **Security** | **Use Slack Connect with free teams** and select **Enable**.
