# Add Apps in Your Personal Slack Sidebar

After your Salesforce and Slack admins have approved and installed Slack Apps for Salesforce in your company's workspace, you can add them to your personal Slack sidebar and connect them to your Salesforce account.

To get started with Slack Apps in Salesforce, follow these steps.

1. In the Slack sidebar, click **Apps**. If necessary, locate **Apps** by clicking **More** first.
2. Search for the Salesforce app, tool, or service you want, and then click to add it.
3. Follow the prompt to connect your account.
4. Enter your Salesforce username and password, and click **Log In**. Or, if your org uses a company-specific login URL, such as mycompany.my.salesforce.com, log in by clicking **Use Custom Domain** instead.
5. Select **I agree to allow Slack to access my Salesforce account**, and then click **Allow**.

That’s it! Now you can start collaborating with colleagues to work faster and smarter in Slack!
